My Teaching Philosophy...

​I believe that the process of teaching and learning is supported by inquiry and encouragement. Students need focused time and effort, both in and out of the classroom, to reach their academic goals. To this end, I support active and engaging learning experiences that integrate real-world applications through relevant and up-to-date technology and instructional methods. To foster a truly beneficial learning experience, I believe that teaching requires students' meaningful participation with the content as well as with their peers and the instructor.
